Eliana Otta Vildoso (Lima, 1981) holds a degree in Art and a Master's in Cultural Studies from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She completed her PhD with the project Lost and Shared: Approaches to Collective Mourning Towards Affective and Transformative Politics through the PhD in Practice program at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. She served as the coordinator of the Curatorial Team for the permanent exhibition at the Lugar de la Memoria, Tolerancia e Inclusión Social. Eliana is a co-founder of the Mouries collective in Athens and the Bisagra artist space in Lima. She has taught at the Faculty of Art at PUCP, Corriente Alterna, and the National School of Fine Arts in Peru. Eliana also teaches yoga and has an alter ego, Dj Flaquita, a perpetually amateur DJ.
