Gabriel Virgilio Luciani is an independent curator and Head of Programs and Academia at Metàfora Studio Arts; an international contemporary art school where they also lecture in global contemporary art history. They were previously Editor-in-chief of the Spain-based contemporary art magazine, exibart.es. Originally from the United States, they have been anchored in Barcelona for the past 11 years realizing analytical, curatorial and theory-based projects.
